Leveled WCS Workshop
1-3pm -The creative conversation in WCS. The power of partnering and communicating between partners in WCS.
Novice through Advanced equivalent. This is such an important concept that makes WCS what it is today. Don’t miss out! You do NOT have to be a WCS competitor to take and benefit from this workshop. This is for you if you’re comfortable with your basics and beyond, and social dance regularly. If you are a regular in the dance community and in our dance classes, please consider taking this class, too. Ask us if you have any questions. (This is perfect for our JT team members, too!)
Regular Workshops
Must know the basic 6 & 8 count basics of WCS.
3pm – WCS Workshop 1: Mistakes to Masterpieces
West Coast Swing is FUN! You can turn those 'oops' moments into amazing dancing!
4pm – WCS Workshop 2: Tips, Tricks, & Tools for Taking Your Dancing to the Next Level
We all need this, no matter what level or how long you've been dancing West Coast Swing!
5-7p - Dinner Break!
6pm – open Q&A with John Lindo, ask him your questions about WCS! $5 per person, cash.
7p – WCS Workshop 3: Groovin’ to the Music
Come learn from the best when it comes to groovin' to the music in West Coast Swing!
8p-12am - WCS Social Dance with DJ Paul; Holiday Treats provided!

After beginning in country-western dance in 1992, John quickly made his mark on the West Coast Swing circuit by garnering an astonishing number of awards and championships in Jack-and-Jill and Strictly Swing contests. First Place awards include the U.S. Open, Grand Nationals, and Phoenix Champion of Champions.
John’s passion and talent for West Coast Swing has brought him international recognition. He actively participates in competitions and workshops around the world.
John is sought after internationally for his knowledge, experience and teaching, in roles such as organizer, judge, dancer, deejay and choreographer.
John’s mission is to provide superior occasions for all dancers to enjoy themselves. His social dances, workshop/expos and competitive events are a welcoming opportunity to learn, practice and thrive on the dance floor. Any event John participates in is sure to be informative and outrageously fun!
